Why AI Deployment Feels Like a Warehouse Floor at 3 AM

I wrote a piece for the Forbes Technology Council about the part of AI that nobody puts in the keynote: what it actually feels like to deploy and keep running once the demo is over.

The polished version of AI lives in pitches and launch posts. The real version looks more like a warehouse floor at 3 AM — half-lit, noisy, full of edge cases, and held together by the people still on shift. The distance between those two pictures is where most of the hard, unglamorous engineering work lives.
